Sneezing for Attention

I am experiencing allergies for the first time in my life. This is my third Spring in Aspen and yet my first with allergies. I visualize my eyes like swirling fireballs. I sneeze so much around the office people don’t even bother to “bless me” anymore and I don’t blame them. Josh, the morning dj and guy in the office next to mine, says I just do it for attention and that he blanketly will not be blessing me anymore.

So, I have been living with it for almost two weeks hoping it will sort of go away on its own…the same way it arrived, suddenly. I did buy some natural eye drops that provided some relief but not much. Finally, I got serious and went to Carl’s and bought generic Claritin non-drowsy. It seems to be helping a little as well, but the real savior has been Visine-A. My eyes feel like eyes again. I am still sneezing quite a bit, but the improvement makes such a difference. So, that’s the message of this posting. Visine-A rocks and I recommend it to any and everyone. I hear the pollen levels are going to drop off in a week or two, if that’s even what’s causing the somewhat miserable condition I have been in the past two weeks. I guess I should be thankful I have gone this many years without any allergies, but I still feel a little sorry for myself when no one says “bless you.”

Thanks for reminding me about Visine-A. I’ll get a fresh bottle for a trip I’m planning.
