They’re Drinking Our Kool-Aid In Sheriff’s Race


Though the name Aspen Post never rose to the surface Wednesday night, the “Squirm Night” debate between challenger Rick Magnuson and Pitkin County Sheriff Bob Braudis was so heavily weighted toward issues raised for months on end in this blog that you would be hard-pressed to imagine this race without us. At the debate televised live on GrassRoots TV, Braudis spent most of the hour on the defensive, justifying the dearth of drug, DUI, and even rape arrests during his elongated tenure in the office, and trying to explain away his vacuous stance on “education” as the answer to every problem under the Colorado sun. Game on.
