The fact that the federal government will not fund embryonic stem cell research is not a ban on that research and any scientist or pharmaceutical company can do as much of it as they please in this country or abroad. The true debate should be over whether the adult stem cell samples are yielding better results and showing more promise that the embryonic stem cell ones.
