Each day, about 11,000 foreign nationals illegally cross our borders and enter into the United States. They are only coming for a better life right? How much are you willing to pay for that life they are seeking? How about with your own life, or maybe that of your children.
The recent kidnapping of Clay Moore by an illegal alien is only the most recent and much publicized account of what we as citizens must pay as these illegal aliens run amuck in our country with no regards for our laws, sovereignty, or the well fare of our citizens.

No turning back now: Arnold Bagdikian, despite his best instincts, has signed on to represent Eugene Koksher and the O’Kell test-tube heirs, and the puts him directly in the face of Diana Campobello and the O’Kell billions. But the Bag Man has been there before, so this time around he knows that Atomic Tom O’Kell was Kennedy’s top nuclear advisor, and how he multiplied the family electrical fortune in nuclear power; how Will O’Kell drowned just like his older brother; and how Eleanor took the money and tried to create a world in the last town along the canal entirely without men.
But the best defense is a good offense, so first Baggie has to ensure the survival of the species with that overdue sperm donation to his friends, Jimmy Burns and Angie Frangello, with the act performed in the name of his one, true love—Amanda Madison.

In the world of abject conservatism, where almost nothing is like they want it to seem, Rigthy radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh reached a new low--or was it a new high--by smacking environmental "wackos" for using smart lightbulbs even as he was plugging Rinnai tankless hot water heaters because they "save energy."
Conservatives, you see, face a conundrum: how to continue to hold to values most dear--i.e., that liberal activists are liable for all the ills of the world--as they continue to latch onto a good thing when they see it. And a conservative likes nothing better than saving money, even if it means they fall victim to conservation.

I never had a better night at the Wheeler Opera House than the one Saturday night--and that's saying something. The cause of my glee was a music performance by the entire Aspen Country Day school on the main stage based on the proposition that nobody really knows what's in there upside your head.

I came here 28 years ago with little more than a stack of yet-to-be-paid student loans and a pair of ski boots that did not fit. I found a permanent home and a supportive community from my very first days washing dishes and driving a bus through my thirteen years of service as a county commissioner.

After many months of complex negotiations involving a unique public-private partnership between the City of Aspen, Aspen Film, and the Isis Retail Group, Aspen Film proudly announces the acquisition of the Isis Theater. With the completion of this unprecedented transaction, which will benefit the entire community, Aspen Film opens a new chapter in its ongoing commitment to build and enhance the film experience for moviegoers in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley.
As a result of this acquisition, a newly configured four-screen multiplex will be deed-restricted for use as a first-run movie theater and will continue to be operated by Metropolitan/Rocky Mountain Cinemas. Renovation of the current theater is scheduled for this spring. Aspen Film plans to present a portion of its September festival, Aspen Filmfest, at the Isis.
