When "Right" is Wrong

March 27th, 2007 at 10:48am Edward Troy 191

Today, generally speaking, the right wing is wrong. They are wrong about Iraq, if only because they had to lie about it, suckering the American public into thinking Saddam Hussein is Osama bin Laden or some rough equivalent. This makes all the sense of accusing Louis Farrakhan (Nation of Islam) of being the grand dragon of the KKK -- behind the scenes. By the logic used in right wing circles Bush is a terrorist, since there were Al Queda cells in this country. In fact there is more support for this idea, since there were no actions of terror in the Hussein led Iraq that we claim occured. So what if the idea is ridiculous. Someone voted for the nonsense! Just don't look at me.

The right wing is wrong about the tax cuts, enabling such a concentration of capital that corruption of governance is unavoidable. This action also leads to the exportation of capital from value added work (production) to China and other countries, (this is supported and defended by Kudlow). This action is also responsible for the rape of memories in Aspen and other cities, with the stripping and demolition of marquee buildings that were social institutions. Any denizen  or perennial visitor to Aspen knows what is missing -- places where memories were made, where you met your wife, had the laugh of your life, started your business or lost your virginity. But this right to desecrate your memories was given to them by you (OK some of you). Stop complaining when your memories aren't worth a dime rolling down the street to the predatory investors. If you voted for this situation, I don't care to hear your complaint.

The right wing is wrong about the corrosion of the Declaration of Independence and even the compromises of that, in the Constitution. Show me or any liberal where there is an inalienable right to screw fellow citizens over as an entitlement. If liberals had my guts they would call this treason. The right wing is wrong in protecting capital before developing citizens. This is one major reason why people born into this country are not being developed into the ideals of what a citizen is in the Social Contract or Of Civil Government, or what Jefferson, Madison, Jay and Hamilton did agree on (they had many disagreements, but none were contemporary conservatives wanting a monarchy). The best war fought is the one that is won without firing a shot. Can this be done by proxy? Maybe the Chinese will do a type of LBO through our T-Bills and other debt instruments and, despite the blather from Lawrence Kudlow (the MSNBC comentator) collapse our currency and as any good investor does, buy low, using their own undervalued currency? Why wouldn't they do this? Any question as to whether there is a work ethic in China?

The right wing is wrong about Global warming in the same way the Conservative Catholic church was wrong about the fixed firmament of the heavens for the same reason; protection of the axis of power and concentrated capital. It is dangerous to think they are really objecting to the science, unless they are genuinely idiots, which no one at those levels of influence is (possibly ignorant mouthpieces aside, for instance I do not share the liberal opinion that Bush is really an idiot, but he is a good actor and successful, afterall dont' most liberals dismiss him as an idiot?). The objections are about an idea not owned and managed by the right wing -- period.
