Food Crime!

I must be committing a crime. I am eating too well. Big Brother is going to come find me and chain me to the Golden Arches any day now for getting away with such good eats. Surely little old me, part of the general public has no invitation to the decadent, fresh, top shelf, royalty reserved food chain that as I have been glutting gleefully on…By point of fact, I wish to invite you in on my secret upper-echelon breakfast I whipped up for myself today. My entire meal, with the exception of one or two condiments and my Mochi Waffles (totally awesome, by the way) was locally grown by my neighbors, my friends and myself.
Local Asparagus sautéed in ghee, fresh green garlic, comfrey leaves and flowers from my back yard, local red wine vinegar and soy sauceTwo real, fresh, farm eggs over easyA bowl of fresh Strawberries and Yogurt from fresh, raw, happy cow milk
Two crispy waffles drizzled in local raw honey and fresh butter
It was so good and gone so fast I forgot to look over my shoulder…
Pair that with eating under the trees in my own back yard listening to the birds and the cicadae, I had better start working on a believable statement that will hold in a court of Law.
How about, “ Want a bite?”
