Are you overtraining?

Every so-called fitness expert out there has their own definition and ideas about over training. In my opinion, it is simply training more than you are able to recover, thus leading to decreased physical performance and/or injury. With the recent run of poor weather, you can bet that many Aspenites will over-do-it with exercise this holiday weekend.

Old war, New war, Red war, Blue war

On his show today, Michael posed the question; “How do we make sure we don’t get into another unnecessary war?” claiming rightfully, that it is our responsibility, the citizens of the US, to prevent that from happening.

We all know how we got into the current war. The Bush administration, capitalizing on the fear from 9/11 lied to us about the threat Iraq posed to our safety. The media, instead of investigating the claims, went along with them. The people, fearful and angry over 9/11, agreed.

Where Have You Gone, Toni Kronberg?

I am an admirer of Toni Kronberg and that makes me a party of one.

I love her for one thing and one thing only: she cares about Aspen beyond all reason, and she's willing to fight for what she believes. She's got heart and she's got soul.

Sometimes that leaves her in the land of the wackos and the deranged, but for the most part she's out there walking the street, going to meetings, getting people to sign petitions, and running around like every good citizen would if they cared half as much. Most of those who criticize her sit on their duffs and whine without doing a damn thing about it.

Just when he thought life could not get much better, the Bag Man finds out that the kidnapping of his one true love means things could get much worse.

The Great Aspen Boob Robbery

Stuff happens here that just can’t quite happen anywhere else—no way, no how. There’s the one about the bimbette who borrowed her boyfriend’s credit card and happened to charge her new boobs to his account.

And now, ready or not, there’s this one.

We’re talking about an innocent girl, a victim of aural sex.

So to speak.

Here’s the details.

There’s this girl. That’s the way it always starts.
