She Loves Me

Michael Monroney, the director for “She Loves Me” recently announced the cast for Aspen Community Theatre’s upcoming fall musical. Actors and actresses throughout the Roaring Fork Valley auditioned for roles in this Tony award-winning production.
Principal roles include Jonathan Boxer as Georg and Nikki Boxer as Amalia, secret pen pals who work in a Parfumerie in Budapest, 1930. Jeff Bestic is the good hearted Old World shop owner, Mr. Maraczek. Bryan Gonzales will appear as Kodaly, a dashing clerk who woos Ilona, his attractive co-worker played by Jennetta M. Howell. Hector Lopez is the bushy-tailed, ambitious delivery boy, Arpad and Brad Moore is Sipos, the senior clerk in the shop. Also featured are Lee Sullivan as Keller, the detective; Paul Jung as the comic busboy; and Ed Foran as the romantic waiter.
The ensemble includes: Therese Alpern, Jim Coates, Taylor Crist, Ginni Galicinao, Katriona Hembury, Christy Hunter, Michelle Masone, Oscar Gary Okicic, Jennifer Slaughter, Mary Sloop, and Linda Talbott.
“She Loves Me” performances will be held at the Wheeler Opera House on November 8th through the 10th and November 14th through the 17th at 7 pm with a Sunday matinee at 2 pm on November 11th.
