not a silly conspiracy

I do not credit the Bush Administration with extraordinary honesty or intelligence. It takes very little of the latter in matters of self preservation -- witness the wildebeast fleeing the marauding lions, the sparrow fleeing the hawk and the grasshopper hopping in flight from the mantis. The Bush Administration was already in very deep trouble before 9-11; the collapse of the capital markets and loss of respect amongst those identified as political pundits.

If we can ignore the WTC bombing, how do we ignore Khobar Towers, the Embassy bombings, the USS Cole, the Millenial plot? Did the ministry of information evaporate this history? Now I admit there was a deliberate ignoring of Richard Clarks information via email at least officially. Neverthe less, this does not allow ignorance of and from the public history.

A leetle story for bedtime; Joe beats up John repeatedly in WTC Bar but gets away with it, he then beats up John in the Kho Bar and does it again in the Bar Embassy and the Zanzi Bar and on the floating Cole Yacht Club. He tries to get to John during the millenial celebration, but is foiled.

The Bars and club are owned by the partnership of the people and were managed by Bill and now George, John is an employee that is supposed to be under observation. The partnership of the people cares a great deal about John. While Bill was managing, he goes after Joe and fails to get him, but Joe is foiled later when he attempts to do harm to John during the celebration. The partnership of the people don't notice. The partnership of the people have their attention riveted on Kitty Barfly, whom they have found has been mitigating Bills' insatiable lust. Even so the business thrives.

George takes over and is given the information about John and concurrently the business dives due to George saying it will, damaging investor confidence. That was a mistake (probably).

Robert was also in the bars. He hates George's dear old dad for various reasons, and even used to make deals with his dad's friends twenty five years ago. He felt like George's dad stabbed him in the back, and therefore tried to open up a can of a--whup, but being a pathetic bully punk, he failed. George never forgot this though and swears by God he's gonna git 'em one of these here days, his dad's friends want to help, their names are on those deals. Robert is also fearful of Joe and wants to get Joe before Joe gets him.

Kent Clark was monitoring John and Joe for Bill and then George and gave all information to Rummy Condi Cheney, George's bestest friend in the whole wide world (smartest and most trusted too George thought). One day Mr. Clark starts sending out extremely ominous reports of Joe's continued despicable intentions to Rummy Condi Cheney.

George's bestest friend in the whole wide world says to George, "Your management position is in serious trouble. I can't write anything down because it will become a document, and thank goodness Rosemary Woods isn't working here, otherwise we would have to delete quite a few expletives."

There is a hushed anxious moment; "George," that friend of glorious credentials continues, "you have a unique opportunity to save your management reputation." Ignoring George's drool, the saintly friend continues -- quietly, the ghost of Rosemay might hear such things and even record it, "remember how I signed those deals with Robert?"

"But I hate 'em." George interrupts.

"SHH!!! I know that. So do I. Anyway, I've got this idea. Here's how it goes. The partnership of the people trusts you just about completely and hasn't been paying attention to Joe and but knows about Robert all to well. Well I have direct information that Joe is going to continue going after John and has concocted a great and complicated plan we couldn't even DREAM of. But hey at least we are smart enough to take advantage of Joe's evil skills and we can blame what Joe does to John on Robert and hang him high, and later if we have to, go after Joe."

"You mean let poor John get beat up agin?" George says slowly enough to understand.

"Exactly! All we have to do is sit back and let it happen. Joe did all the planning. You don't even have to think, I mean we don't even have to think!" A friend in need is a friend indeed.

"What about Kent Clark, that do good pest? What about him huh? I've seen those emails." George asked, suddenly frightened.

"George, listen. I knew you were going to ask that -- you're so smart. Just do what I do, treat his emails like spam, I mean aren't you sick of reading all that depressing crap anyway. No one can prove you actually read it or the Washington Post or the NYT right?"

"I only said I saw them. I don't read anything, especially those darned newspapers!" George retorted.

"We have a plan! Well Joe has a plan, what's the difference, mere details," the friend of virtue, honor and valor stated as a matter of factly.

George sat for a moment in shock and awe and then erupted with cheer, "We have a mission accomplice,"  lept forth and danced joyously about to and fro.

He of the heavenly light, friend and savior, spoke with solemnity, "don't you mean accomplished?"

"That's right, that's right! One day I will stop saying nucular and say nuclear. Did you hear that!? I did it!!. I said it!! Did you hear? Did you? Did you? Did you?" Such chortling!

"You see George. You are a great man."

Thus ends our bedtime story.

Kitty Genovese was murdered in a crowded apt. complex. It could not be proven that anyone saw what happened, whether they wanted her dead or alive.

Vincent Bugliosi, who prosecuted Manson, understood the use of circumstancial evidence one thread at a time, until there was a rope and then enough rope to give a necktie party. Perhaps we the people should do the same. There are vast reams of evidence that this administration knew about Al Qeada history and plans. Claiming lack of comprehension is all this administration has. People will do odd things in the name of greed and even more so in the interest of self preservation. $114.00 Oil Hmmm??
