Left? It's not the politicians, It's the beauracracy. The problems with the Conservative right is the only party they can turn to is the Republicans. The Republican party has not lived up to it's, (our) conservative ideals in ages. In fact, the Republican party of late has begun to resemble the Democratic party of old in many ways. Worse than this is the fact the Democrats have become hardcore socialists. Politicians come & go, but the beauracracy remains like an immovable, impenetrable, enigmatic, monolithic idol. The politicians are mearly priests in the temple dumping money down the maw of the great god beauracracy. Sonny Canterbury Right? Left? It's not the politicians, It's the beauracracy.

Perhaps that s why I wrote an apologia for Condi and George on your 9/11 radio show post. It's what we long to hear. Anything that makes sense. Instead we get execrable lies, planted questions at press conferences, tortured logic: we'll win if we don't leave (Iraq), obfuscation and misdirection. Have you made any mistakes Mr. President? No I can't think of any. Scooter goes free, Condi gets a promotion, Blackwater gets renewed funding, the "Surge" is working, We've had a heck a a good eight years. We're proud of our accomplishments. I sure hope the Democrats don't screw up what we've accomplished. It doesn't have to be true if you're a conservative, you just have to say it. We're winning, we're prosperous -- end of story.
