Aspen native Bryan Sax was killed Saturday in Florida—his single engine plane—and his student went down after colliding with another aircraft over the everglades—–there were a total of four deaths—but no bodies have yet been recovered, after the planes crashed in the Everglades. Sax, 37, was an instructor and a partner in Aspen Aero—a flight School at Aspen ’s Airport.

The identity of an Aspen skiing company employee—who crashed a company snowmobile early Friday morning at Snowmass –has not been made public. —-the accident occurred on Hal’s run very early in the morning—-but was not discovered by ski patroluntil seven a.m. The only word yet about employee is that serious injuries were sustained—-more information is expected today.

Tonight’s the night for a final vote by aspen city council on the Lift One Project. The eight acres at the base of Aspen Mountain are slated for a 300 thousand square foot mixed used development to include new lifts, hotels and restaurants—–the plans have been reviewed and discussed for more than one half year.

    Wow, I’m kinda amazed that there isn’t news on Bryan here. Maybe I don’t visit the post enough to know how to find information or don’t know what things you concentrate on here. Oh well. If anyone is looking for information there is a group on facebook to go to. It is: Friends of Bryan Sax
