Politics and Christianity have two very separate ideologies. When people attempt to fasten them together, hypocrisy will always be in the middle pushing them apart. No one outside of the republican party sees republicans as Christians. Republicans haven’t defended their action because it would topple their mighty “Christian” tower, but Mark Stanford is letting them defend his seat. Mark claimed to be reborn on the same day he got caught. Convenient right? Like I said they can’t be joined together, but politicians will continue to try. Christianity is not something to use, but instead something to live.

Speaking of republicans… I’m too young to even remember the reaction that republicans had the last time Dems gained control of office, but is this normal? Are people always this susceptible to fear? This is weird because republicans are both the ones with the guns and also prone to violence, so why are they afraid? I have witnessed many of the folks I considered normal doing extraordinary, crazy things. People are stock piling weapons, moving to Canada, becoming anxious and fearful, and just generally being pessimistic. People are genuinely scared concerning America. What the hell is wrong with these people? I understand that people for some reason or another are drawn to crisis’s. Everyone is always making up crisis’s to put some meaning to their lives, but this is different. People are terrified and can’t even explain why. So I want to know if anyone can tell me why? How has this change in office affected you?
