It’s not expected, at this time, for any local flight disruptions, but at DIA and connecting flights today there may be some upset as the FAA center in Atlanta recovers from a major computer glitch---which is slowing things down.
The computer system for the nation’s air traffic is sometimes described as antique-----and this is the second incident of major computer problems in the last 15 months.
The nation’s heaviest travel season is coming up----starting with Thanksgiving Day…..and it’s hoped, say flight controllers, that this current problem may act as a red flag to debug the system in time for the crush of holiday traffic.
Three cats owned by Richard Moreau are up for adoption. The Eagle valley animal rescue says the prime murder suspect in the shooting death of Carbondale’s Dr. Gary Bruce Kitching on November seventh----in west vail, has signed over ownership of the animals--------no takers yet.
