The city of Aspen suspended its geothermal test drilling operation this week, without hitting the underground water officials had hoped to measure as a possible energy source.
City environmental programs manager Lauren McDonell said they might resume drilling in the spring. She said she’ll likely bring the issue to City Council in the new year.
