Fantastic Fanatics

The conversation turns from football players to football fans as Michael Conniff writes, “Because Elway's team won not once but twice, back-to-back, the typical Broncos fan EXPECTS a Super Bowl every year and kvetches when it inevitably doesn't happen. I find that obnoxious beyond belief.” Kit O’Carra responds, “The years I lived in SoCal I tried to get to every game the Broncos played there, whether it was at the Coliseum with the Raiders (before they moved back to Oakland) or to San Diego. This was back in the 80's, when most people assumed the nastiest fans belonged to the Raiders and we were risking life and limb attending a game decked out in orange and blue. Not so....by far, the most obnoxious and nastiest fans were in San Diego.”

Quarterback Quotient

Fellow football fans Star Eagle and Kit O’Carra engage in a comparative analysis of Bronco stars future and former. Kit writes, “At least Cutler has the makings of the right stuff, but I don't think he's at Elway's level yet.”

The First Cutler Is The Deepest

Michael Conniff takes armchair quarterbacking to the blogosphere with his assessment of the underappreciated Jay Cutler. “The typical Denver fan will point out that Jay Cutler is not John Elway,” observes Conniff, “despite the fact than Jay-C says his arm is better than John Elway's ‘hands-down.’ Denver fans don't remember that Godway went his entire career without winning a Super Bowl before winning his last two. They forget how much they hated him before he actually went out with a winning twofer. Hate to say it, but the lack of appreciation of Cutler reminds me of the fans of my New York Jets and the dearly departed Chad Pennington.”

Species Extinction: Part 5--Next Added 100 Million Americans

To support each American citizen, 12 acres of land must be developed, i.e., taken out of its natural setting. It must be paved over, planted in crops, built into suburbs, schools, colleges, fire houses, malls, roads and everything that sustains our society. That means the next added 100 million Americans wreak havoc on the natural world in an ever more deadly population dance.

If I could lead several hundred million average Americans to China at 1.3 billion, India at 1.1 billion or Bangladesh with 144 million people in a landmass the size of Iowa--for a week tour of THEIR population nightmares, you’d see a massive throng of Americans demanding our borders be secured as well as a national population policy implemented.

Governor Lamm said, "It's the crime of the century!'

Last month I participated in the annual gathering of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR – www.fairus.org) in Washington, DC. Former Colorado Governor Lamm was a keynote speaker – giving us a STARTLING speech.

His national leadership in the immigration debate illustrates his far-reaching understanding of our greatest dilemma in the early years of the 21st century. Every social ill emanates from too many poorly educated, low-income people flooding into the United States – beyond our capacity to sustain them – or ourselves.

Declining population Growth Rates are a Good Thing

Over the last couple of weeks during Immigration Wednesday on KNFO’s Con Games, two assertions were made that need addressing. First, it was said that most of the more developed countries of the world were declining in population numbers, and it was therefore assumed that was not a good thing. Well, it is a good thing.

Reducing population growth rates by establishing replacement levels of fertility (or even below replacement levels) and curbing immigration are, indeed, the only real hopes for sustaining viable futures for those countries—including, if not especially, for the U.S. The challenges resulting from not doing are insurmountable. The necessary adjustments of doing so would be just that, adjustments.

Is the White House Calling America's Perceived Bluff on Illegal Aliens?

Last week, Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff, a man for all seasons and obliged to two nations, ordered raids in southern California that netted 1,200 illegal aliens. Hundreds of them proved deportation absconders, rapists, murderers and MS-13 gang members.

After Bush flamed out of the sky – crashing-and-burning in a stunning defeat for the amnesty bill in June – he pondered enforcement of our laws. What a concept!

Dissolution of Our Culture: Ultimate Breakdown of America

This week, in Denver, Colorado, "immigrants" want Halloween celebrations taken out of the school systems. Peter Boyles, talk jock of KHOW 630 AM said, "Next they will demand Thanksgiving be taken away from us." Americans like Boyles do the job Congress refuses to do! Diversity proves a great divide that dissolves American culture.

Denver Mayor Hickenlooper's Sanctuary Policy for Illegal Aliens getting Coloradans Killed

Last month, in Newark, New Jersey, two illegal aliens executed three college-bound teenagers. Both men, members of MS-13, sported rap sheets as long as a football field. Illegal alien Carranza, featuring 31 indictments, raped a five year old girl. Illegal Godinez distributed drugs. Both enjoyed freedom via bail bonds while escaping deportation through Newark’s Mayor Cory Booker’s “Sanctuary Policy.” Booker allows illegal aliens to remain immune from police discovering their immigration status. Instead of deportation, they may roam free on American soil.

Iraq War: What Crock Of--Bush's lies, violations of U.S. Constitution, corporate controlled war, military-industrial complex

Of all the insanity, stupidity and incompetence the Bush administration foisted onto the American public in the past six years, the Iraq War will prove the worst lie, the most egregious mistake and the most calamitous moral crisis ever injected into our civilization. His madness has become our madness. His insanity proves our insanity.

Zele Community Table: From Alaska To Aspen With Ed Foran

Ed Foran: I was born and raised in Chicago, but I went to Alaska for fourteen years, lived off the grid for ten years with no electricity or running water, raced sled dogs, worked with UAA [University of Alaska Anchorage] in the archeological department. I met my wife Barbara in Alaska, she is from Los Angeles. This was mid-70s , many counter-culture folks were there.

MC: That’s a long way from Chicago.

EF: My father was a U.S. attorney in 1970 in Chicago. It was a fascinating experience growing up there, but I didn’t really enjoy it. It never ever felt like a fit. Alaska, however, felt like “going home,” the lifestyle, the people.

MC: How are Alaskans different?

EF: Very community-oriented, very smart, very libertarian, what you do is your own business. If you want to have Abrams tank or an arsenal of guns in your back yard, you should be able to do it.

What Is America's Dangerous Future?

In tomorrow's America of suffocating political correctness and clashing cultures, unrestricted immigration, both legal and illegal, proves a merciless weapon of war. George Bush promotes it, Condi Rice facilitates it and Dick Cheney shoves it down America’s throat. All maintain memberships in the Council on Foreign Relations—a One World Order organization dedicated to dissolving the borders and sovereignty of the United States of America.

If you look at the ‘elite class’ in America, none of them or their families dwell in the midst of that which they create for Middle America. We do!
